Pizza Making Class and Pixar's Up - 5/31/09

If Saturday wasn't great enough with the Farmer's Market and then the Giants game, Sunday was just as good. Our friends David and Su invited us to a pizza making class that Su was teaching at a local store in the Marina. They're both chefs so what a better way to start a Sunday! We learned a lot about making pizza and they all turned out delicious.

After the class, we headed over to Pixar for a screening of the new movie Up! Pixar is super cool place with lots of big furry creatures and life sized characters. The movie was awesome, as all Pixar movies are, and it made it even to be watching it on their turf. Hope you enjoy!

Giants game - 5/30/09

Saturday was a fun day in the city. We first went to the Alemany Farmer's Market in the morning followed by a Giant's baseball game in the evening with Kate and Mike.

AT&T Park is great. Beautiful scenery, great garlic fries. Who could as for anything more?


Yes, it was that cold in late May/early June.

Philly - 5/09

Good times back in Philly in early May. We were there for almost a week, mainly for my buddy Chip's wedding. It's always great to spend that much time with family and friends. It was an awesome wedding, the venue was beautiful, the couple looked great and the whole night was a big dance party. Not only was the wedding a blast, but one night we hung out with some of my old friend's from the college days. I only thought there would be 3 or 4 people, but a friend spread the word and next thing we knew there were like 20 or so people there, many who had not seen each other in at least 10 years. What a fun night! Blogger sucks so there are out of order, but enjoy!

Golden Gate Park Day

Today was an unusually hot day in San Francisco. It topped out at about 80 degrees! Yes, we know, that's nothing by Florida standards, but it is hot for us! We figured there was no better way to celebrate the lack of fog and chilly winds than by having a BBQ in Golden Gate Park.  There was good food, bocci ball and a group of guys across the way from us playing bicycle polo (very entertaining!). It was a great day!
